Erik and Diways wedding - Mexico

Went with the family to Riveira Maya, Mexico for cousin Diway's wedding...was beautiful, this photo was taken at the resort we stayed at

After a long long flight, we had our first drink and dinner at the resort...was so nice to spend time with my sisters

My hopes of the trip in addition to seeing my cousin get married was to eat lots of ceviche and swim through the caves

I did it! :) had ceviche everyday...tried it with octopus for the first time...and we did zip lining, amphibian vehicle riding, swimming and paddling through caves, was so so fun! bummed I didn't get a picture cave swimming

we did the Xplor Tour, included those 4 activities and a yummy lunch

so random that I had the same one shoulder strap as my cousin

hanging with cousins, were reminiscing on our childhood together, crazy we are all old now!

longest Halloween ever

Halloween was unusually busy for us this year...very long!

every year at zappos they have trick or treating in the office for the kids

some teams go all out and decorate super cute themes

this year was extra special, they had a bunch of stuff going on outside too...a train

auntie dee was able to meet us for some crafts

tony came out to see what the kids were up to

then the next day was dress up day for adults

our team was the count and bats...that is our theme in our row since we are merch planning and we love numbers :) this was costume #1

later on that same day was our quarterly recognition meeting we were alligators or crocodiles...I forget...inside joke at work b/c when there is a system issue this croc or gator pops up on the screen, so costume #2

then the next day was the Charity Golf event that zappos hosts, where vendors buy tickets to golf and zappos employees volunteer at the holes. It's not your usual golf game, there is usually a silly challenge at each hole...costume #3 mexicans, but I had already bought my champagne costume and was determined to wear it :)

jay too, he had two costumes, bam bam for work

power range for the golf event..after having the pumpkin patch, kids day on Wednesday, adult stuff on Thursday, then the Golf thing on Friday, by the time Halloween came on Sunday we were over it, fun week but tiring

its our anniversary

For our 10yr thought it would be fun to send our bridal party love cards, thanking them for being part of our special day 10 years ago...each card had a different little message about love

also included was a coffee bag so they could toast with us in spirit...our Friday morning thing is coffee at starbucks

totally optional to participate and send in pictures...

was so excited to get our first picture...how cute are Tip & Rick...love you guys!

then got our dessert fix at Brio...10yrs flew by so fast, so blessed!!! couldn't have married a better man

another special anniversary

our church the Crossing has the same anniversary as us 9/24/00, they decided to do a big serve in the community, there were about 10 different things to choose from, we chose to clean up a recreation center because it was one that the family could do together

jay and I signed up to paint and the kids did light cleaning and were able to play in the gym while waiting for the parents...turned out jay told me to just stay with the kids, so he painted for the both of us :)

and do a bunch of relay races

then at the end of the day everyone regrouped at the park for bbq, music

so fun! he was so excited and went down another time

we love our church and are so happy to be part of one that understands we aren't perferct, we are all jacked up, on a journey seeking God, living our lives based on His teachings.
