4th of July Weekend

July started and ended with celebration...July 4th weekend started with a night at the Red Rock Hotel...one of our favorite poolsbecause it's adult and kid friendly...has a whole shallow section for the kids to play in while you lay on lounge chairs
if Jayson wasn't riding on daddy's back, he was crawling around the whole pool

after the pool we enjoyed a nice dinner at Cabo Restaurant
On the day of July 4th, toasted at the D's house
saw Elmo at Christians Birthday party

then watched fireworks back at Red Rock with Rick and Tip
The day after 4th of July we went to check out the new park they opened up near us

and I got to finish off the weekend with dinner, drinks and a movie with Darlene and Loan...we watched "the Proposal"...so funny...it was a nice girls night out

Date Nights

We got lucky and squeezed two in, one each month...July was the annual Zappos Vendor Party at the Wynn...We first we had dinner at Cafe Ba Ba Reeba, cause I like their calamariAlign Center
This years vendor party was extra special because it was also Zappos' 10 year anniversary
XS is a very pretty club, half inside and half outside...with added Zappos funlike cotton candy and popcorn
huge beach ball things to go in while people push you around the pool...we were thinking about trying it, but didn't get to it
and people doing yoga for fun...part of the scenery...it was a fun time, having the option to relax in the pool or dance in one place is very cool
In June we went to Serendipity's at Caesars
food was okay, more of a dessert place...but the weather and our view was cool
after dinner we watched the Pussycat dolls perform and then called it a night...we're getting old, we couldn't hang too much after midnight :)

Discovery Museum

After all these years, we finally went to the Vegas Discovery Museum
they learned about snot...gross!
blew lots of bubbles

and rock climbed on warts
the cutest party was they had a mini version of my favorite grocery storeof course, Jayson bought cookies
