Labor Day Weekend

deja vu...same place we spent last Labor Day last year, so cal...first stop a favorite we never get tired of...Irvine

then to San Diego to meet the other de Guzmans...our lovely hosts

the weather was perfect...not too many pictures of me...I was too busy reading my book, the last book of the twilight saga :)

worked out so well, Jay and other family watched the girls in the water, Jayson just wanted to play in the sand, so I got to read next to him, looked up once in a while to make sure nobody was drowning...it was so nice and relaxing :)

I have a picture just like this last year of Jaylin enjoying her spring rolls

day 2 was hanging out at the house and slip and sliding

cousin Isa liked hanging out at the endthe boys got a wagon ride from Auntie Kat

oh and Jay got to play dress up, putting on big brother Rommel's gear

first and last stop, Irvine at the park to see the horses before saying goodbye
we brought cousins with us this time
Bye!

September Stuff

we realized we have enough kids to play musical chairs...the kids must have been bored, they thought to play themselves :)
Jayme let Jayson win a few times because he would cry and scream every time he lost :)

we did some baking, very hard to mix brownies Jayson had to use two hands, but I'm sure worth it since I let them lick the bowl afterwards

kids got lucky and got treats from some of their aunties...Auntie Dee took the kids to Tutti Bella for frozen yogurt just because

and Auntie Aubrey got Jayson a bionicle movie

oh and I can't forget I got in a spa day this month, Green Valley Ranch, 30% off for locals on all spa services

It's our anniversary

9 years this year...the day of 9/24 we weren't planning on doing anything big since it was a weekday...but we got invited to a work team dinner, so we thought it would be fun to go out

so we spent our anniversary with great zappos folks at Pink Taco at the Hard Rock Hotel...toasted to good business, future business and to us :)

the day after we had our real date in Paris...

at

tried to sit outside because it has the best view of the water show...but it was a 2 hr wait so we kept our reservation for inside (they don't take reservations outside)

the steaks were okay, crab cakes and potatoes were very good...I would want to go again during the day and sit outside...

Town Square Festival

At our favorite hang out, Town Sqaure they had their annual Music, Art and Family Festival...we didn't stay long, just long enough to make puppets

get face painting

and watch our little diva perform the Itsy Bitsy Spider Dance
