Niners and Jetsuiting

Kicked of November with a trip home to see the niners.  All Jayson wants is to see the niners so I asked an old friend to let me know when he is selling his seats and I'll figure it out and come up.  It worked out on a long weekend, since kids were off for Nevada day.  What is Nevada day you ask?  Not sure, but the last day in October the kids are off from school followed by the Monday after for teacher in-service, so worked out perfectly.  I just so happen to check the jetsuite and there was one for San Jose to San Francisco that Saturday.  I was planning to go to SF anyway for dinner that night, so booked it for fun for the three of us :)  We drove, well Jay drove early Saturday morning, got us to San Jose around 1pm, just enough time for me to shower and get ready to get on the Jetsuite at 2:15pm.

was so funny, cause our flight was shorter than the shuttle ride from the airport to the rental car place :)  We killed some time at Tartines

 Then to Chinatown for dinner

Game day was that Sunday

great seats and my cousin Glenn was able to get them into the dining area for food & drinks...fun but sad they lost

Temecula

Quick trip to SoCal wine country, Temcula.  Left at about 7:30am on a Saturday.  Got there in record time, under 4 hours cause Carla drives fast.  Full day of wine tasting, sleepover, brunch and shopping then back by Sunday evening.  Just the right amount of time for a quick girl getaway.  It was Eiron and I's first time.  Carla is a regular so was nice to have her show us around and take us to her favorite wineries.  First stop was Bailey, named after their dog.
nice lunch out on the patio
2nd stop was Lorimar which was decorated nice and Christmasy

3rd stop was Carla's favorite, Ponte

4th was Thornton for a sweet flight...sounded yummy, but realized I no longer like the chocolate wines, stick with the regular reds

light snack since we were heading back to Ponte for dinner
after a full and happy day of wine tasting, crashed and started off the next day with bloodys and brunch

Friendsgiving

What started as a get together to watch Hallmark movies all night turned into Friendsgiving followed by the movies.  This is Team Ro, I love them...so fun to hang out with even though Kristin looks like she is about to cut my face!
 girl pic
 I did bacon wrapped turkey

 and the turkey cookies
Bradley did a very yummy brussels sprouts with bacon...one of my new favorite veggies if flavored right
next morning up early for some Turkey Bowl that Jay and Aaron put together.  Jayson was timer for something

I don't play, but proud of the planning/pricing gals that represented us...I support and bring donuts and drinks :)

Fun pre-Thanksgiving weekend!  Thankful for our zappos family and friends we've made here in Vegas!
