and I'll eat and run if I want to :) Daisy planned the second Dessert Dash for my bday...gangsta theme :)
this time the route was in the West Side area of Vegas, about 6 miles, the first Dessert Dash was on the strip
5 stops for dessert, all places I have never been to in Vegas...1st stop Chocolate & Spice, cute inside...Chef Megan Romano from Madalay Bay opened up her on place
during dessert dash we order a few things then share so we each get a taste without getting overly stuffed as we are going to run and eat some more :)
banana cream pie, assorted chocolates and a hazelnut dome, hazelnut dome was my fav!
and one of the best nutella lattes ever!
portioning out
a nice surprise from the store, the gal taking our order asked what the occasion was and what my name was, not thinking anything of it and surprised all of us with bringing this out...so sweet of them, will be a fan forever, great customer service :)
2nd stop Wendy's Noodle for some hot mochi dessert and bread with condensed milk, was a'ight...my first soup dumpling, Amara taught us the proper way to eat it...pinch the top of, pour some vinegar and soy sauce in the whole and eat in one bite, I liked it!
3rd stop, Ichiban for some Honey Toast...so simple and so good, bread, honey and ice-cream!
devoured it
some cheerleaders came to meet us at our 4th stop for some crepes
Chocolat, the same one, a smaller one than the one in San Diego, didn't realize they opened one up in Vegas, somewhat decorating the same but obviously not the same as their bigger store
nutella crepe with amaretto ice cream
5th and final stop at McMullen's Irish Pub for some toffee sticky bread pudding
I think we netted out about pretty even in the amount of calories ate and burned :) My most favorite find was chocolate & spice and the honey toast. Fun Dessert Dash Part Deux, Part Three coming in Summerlin soon!
