Thanksgiving weekend

We stayed home for Thanksgiving and made lunch for a few family members...the deguzmans from socal came over along with Auntie Dee
most exciting part was the turkey, only because I had only cooked a turkey once before so wasn't really sure how it would turn out, anyway after hearing from a co-work how good bacon wrapped turkey was, I decided to try it...was very proud of myself :)

not a very pretty picture, but it started like this...the worst part of making a turkey is taking out the insides...was pretty gross and I was a little scared

then about an hour or so before the end of cooking time, I wrapped it in bacon

and it looked like this...it was surprisingly good...Jay doesn't care for turkey, but he actually liked this one

socal deguzmans will soon have their own party of five

the evening of black friday I took the girls for pottery painting
Jay took Jayson to his first basketball game...scu broncos of course! pretty sad I never went to a game while I was there, but we'll always support them when they are here :)
