Quick trip to the bay

We hadn't done a quick bay area road trip in a while, so we decided to go the first weekend in November for Rosalynn's baby shower. Quick meaning leave Friday after school, spend the whole day Saturday and half of Sunday with friends and family and then leave Sunday afternoon. Worked out well, I got to see friends and the kids got to spend time with their cousins

my first stop was to see Maureen, Kim and their beautiful babies...met them for breakfast at boulangerie, felt like I should've been holding Jayson :)

then to Ros's shower, which was super cute by the way

there were like 10 of these diaper cakes

guava cake, my favorite! that itself was worth the 8hr drive that Jay did...haha, I drove from Gilroy to San Jose, so I did help :)

a DJ, and I am surprised I didn't take pictures of the food, there was too much, from a whole Lechon, Poke, Sushi, and like 100 other things to choose from

oh and games, I won like the first two, then my head got big and I started losing so I stopped playing...hee!

Congrats Rosalynn and Barry! Wish you a safe and fast delivery!

then Sunday morning went to church and got to see the newest babies

then to lunch with cousins

look at these boys, aren't they adorable! After church Royce, Auntie Grace and Uncle Ralph joined us for lunch too

Peace! Hit the road back to Vegas right after lunch. Was a quick but worthwhile trip, so thankful Jay likes to drive and watched the kiddos while I was gallivanting around :)

Mommy's Mini Staycation

A few of the girls came for a weekend getaway...was excited to have them here the weekend of the New Moon Premiere :)

First we had sushi at Kabuki
this is a new favorite roll of mine, baja roll...it was super hot, my mouth was on fire but I liked it!

was a special night for Darlene, her first time to try the raw stuff...I don't think she was impressed :)

towards the end of dinner, Jay brought the kids to see the girls, was a quick visit because we couldn't miss our movie

Twilight fans, the other two haven't even read the books...what's wrong with them :)

the following night was a night out on the strip...Shirley and I missed the memo on the LBD's, oh well my blue and Shirley's brown would have to do

dinner at Society Cafe, restaurant was pretty, food was okay

then went to XS...it was a good time, all the guys that came by to dance with us were really cool and fun, not creepy and weird, but most of them were also 24...haha...I guess we are getting a little old

Nov Bdays

Started the month with Dee's birthday at Cheesecake Factory

Mid month is mom's birthday. The three of us took her for Dim Sum

and Foot Massages

called foot massage, but is a whole body massage with your clothes on. They were really good, but I think I still prefer the naked ones, only because it's more relaxing and serene :)

Then the whole family went for sushi

Ended the month with Daphne's 4th birthday at Build-a-Bear

followed by hot dogs and Ice Cream...isn't she a cutie, Happy Birthday Daphne!

and welcome Happy, Sophia and Cupcake to the family :)

on our way out of the mall we were able to catch the Christmas presentation, twas pretty cute, the kids enjoyed it especially since the elves handed out candy afterwards. Happy Birthday Howard and to anyone else in November :)

Giving Thanks!

We miss our mommy! She took off right after her birthday to the PI, so the kids/cousins had to divide and conquer :) Dee and I did sides

Rick did his first turkey ever and Tip did her mom's famous ham. Both very delish. Jay's comment, "this is the best Turkey I have ever had," which is big cause Jay does not usually eat turkey!even the kids helped
with making place cards

and decorations

Auntie Nin got a special card because the kids miss her lots now that she is back in the bay

turned out to be a great feast

ooh and can't forget about dessert! In addition to pumpkin pie and pecan pie, we had cuban pie :) flan, cheescake and cake in one = yum!

Jayme did the Prayer this year, lots to thank God for! And it was Jaylin's idea to go around the table to say what each of us are thankful for

Cheers to family!

Food

and Love :) as Tip said, " you guys are as sweet as my ham"

Twins?

Kids got silly later and decided to have a pie eating contest...well actually a whip cream eating contest

what a good sister, holding the hair back

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving from your party of Five!
