fun with daddy

who needs gymnastics...

rides...

(human and shopping cart rides...)

and entertainment...

when you have DADDY! these kids have so much fun with Jay, thank goodness he loves to run around with them...while I am picture taking or drinking coffee and watching :)

once in a while I'll run around too, one evening they talked me into playing freeze tag, it was adults against the kids...the kids did that hand thing where you put your hands together and then lift them up and let go...they said, "Goooo Kids"

Things to keep the kids busy

Didn't do much this month, tried to find stuff for the kids to do...

we did some cooking...baked french toast sticks using their new french cooking set, a very kid friendly set with color coding for measuring, fun pics, etc...It started with cutting strips of bread
stirring and setting
pouring
and voila! this is what you get :) a little awkward shaped, scary actually!

but they tasted yummy, the kids loved it! I mean after you cut them up, they looked like little squares :)

the kids love to walk to the store, so randomly we'll walk...
for slurpees
or bagels, we love Einstein's bagels

back in the kitchen to make strawberry smoothies...kids have been dying to try out daddy's new blender
working hard to get the ice cream, the best part :)

toast
and chug!

can't have a smoothie without a stache
oh we did go out to see Bellagio's new set up, the mini Bellagio was pretty cool
we also got to see Uncle Dave for Pizza and cupcakes

Halloween

Halloween started a few days early with the annual zappos kids party...trick or treating around the whole office...passing through Auntie Dee's area

lots of other fun people to see

stopped for a Marshmallow gun fight with the Kids Team, the whole team dressed as girl scouts

found some fellow flappers
I also dressed up with my team...snuggie cult

with a surprise in the back :)

the day of Halloween we first had breakfast for Auntie Tips birthday...Auntie Amanda was in town so mom made her favorite longanisa, fried rice and omelette
then trick or treating at Town Square...the kids got a ton of good candy
free ice cream, chocolate milk, photo booth and other fun kids stuff
the best part was Jayson...he was very picky with his candy, if it was hard candy, he would take it out of his bag right away and give it to me or Jay...He couldn't wait to go through his bag, he didn't want them in there at all. He would say, "I don't like this one" or roll his eyes and say, "I knew it" and give it to me. At least he wasn't a candy hog, sometimes he would just say, "I don't want any" and not even take a candy :) His favorites are whoppers, twix, pretty much any chocolate and skittles, non of the hard laffy taffy, gumballs stuff...hee!
