stopped for some dessert at Jean-Philippe before checking out City Center/Aria

they have some cool things in there

Ice Sculptors that you can touch

or make wishes...anytime they see water, have to make a wish :)

my boys all dressed up for Easter Sunday

followed by brunch

Easter Egg Hunt

and instead of making them baskets, I made pails since we were in need of new pails for the beach...filled with flip flops, candy and some other goodies

Zappos Events - Horse Back Riding/Picnic

April's team event was so much fun! Now that we have become a group of girls only (well now we have one guy), we thought it was a good time to do something girly...so it was Horse Back Riding through Red Rock Canyon

the lovely horses

Michelle and I thought fitting to wear our cowboy hats

this was my horse Cinnamon
off we went
out and about in the desert

through the beautiful Red Rock Canyon

it was a great Team Event! The Zappos Annual Family Picnic was Renaissance Theme this year...the best part for the kids was riding the big bus from work to the park :)

we were greeted with a scary clown/jester
Jayme won the first hula hoop contest
they slid

played games...Jaylin just went down the row of games and played them over and over again

rode inflatable horses...Jayson needed daddy's help to race

and played more games...Jayson waiting anxiously for tug of war to start

he was tough...but was so disappointed...

when the girls ended up winning :(

They had so much fun and look forward to it every year!

My Birthday Week

I wasn't planning on doing anything big for my birthday, but my birthday week ended up being pretty eventful. The day of I was surprised with breakfast from Dee and my team, then they took me to lunch outside at the Districtthen dinner with the family...Pin Kaow, thai food...I wanted me some beef masaman

thanks Auntie Dee for planning dinner

then that Friday, we did team bonding aka spa day and happy hour at Green Valley Ranch...was sooo nice! I got a much needed exfoliating massage and a surprise pedicure from my boss, how cool is she :)

we found the perfect spot at Terra Verde by the fireplace to hang out for a drink and some snacks

then met up with the family and had a nice dinner outside at Brio

Saturday night dinner was a triple date at Nora's Wine Bar in Summerlin, a first time for all of us. It was a fun 3 hour dinner...food and wine were yummy as well as our conversations :) Thanks Dave and Loan for flying out! And as always we love getting together with the D's

the rib eye was the tastiest, one of the many dishes we had...the prix fix menu included penne vodka, tortellini, bruschetta, potatoes, salad, caprese and that wasn't even all of it

then they surprised me with a dessert platter with a candle for me to make a wish :)

and an extra special treat, macaroons from SF sent from Christina...so so pretty aren't they

we all had a great time, thanks for dinner Jay!

the last bday dinner was Sunday night at Firefly, a local favorite tapas restaurant, girls only this time...we got kicked out actually, we lost track of time and ended up chatting for 3 hours, so we had to give up our table...we ended the night talking for another hour over coffee at starbucks...

thanks for dinner and coffee girls!

oh and dessert too!
