Labor Day Weekend

We spent Labor Day weekend at the beach, Oceanside

where Uncle Rommel and Auntie Tish live

did some boogie boarding...even I did it, but didn't need any pictures of me falling all over the place

The kids enjoyed playing in the sand

eating good food, especially spring rolls

playing in the water

and some had very good naps

no matter where we are, these kids just love being together!

8 year anniversary

We made it! 8 years without killing each other :) Our anniversary day started out nice with flowers from Jay...took me a while to get that it was an apple martini arrangement, my favorite drink!

We spent our anniversary at the Palazzo Hotel

ate at Sushi Samba

The best dish we had, the chilean seabass in miso sauce, so good...also had the biggest corn kernels I've ever seen. Jay couldn't wait to dig in.

the other meats and side dishes were pretty tasty too

but they didn't bring out our sushi, but by that time we were full anyway, so we just went straight for dessert...so we'll have to come back for their sushi

What will they be when they grow up...

A chef maybe, Jaylin loves to help daddy cook dinner

A perfectionist...Jayson has a habit of lining things up. He line up cars, trains, pens, books, pretty much anything, but his favorite is shoes...and he gets mad when one gets out of place

sometimes you'll find random lines throughout the house. In this picture the line of shoes went from the stairs to underneath the kitchen table

he'll even line up the big stuff like my chairs. This is what the kids eat when daddy is not home to cook, corn dogs...no, there are actually 2 really good things I can make :)

or maybe Jayson will be a pie eating contest winner...when we got this huge dessert, he said,"bite, bite" so we let him

and it was a big mess!

this is what the eclair looked like before we dug in

or maybe Jayson will be an artist

A sassy fashionista...Jayme, she's just super cute!

maybe she'll be a photographer...she loves to take pictures...she knows how to take the my space, hand stretched out picture...haha!

September Visits and other usual stuff

Uncle Neil and Auntie Melissa came to Vegas to see Janet Jackson and to visit us

While in town, us sisters went on a movie date to watch, "My Best Friend's Girl."

Uncle Rick and Auntie Tip came to visit this month too

a silly photo of Jayson

Horse show at the Southpointe Hotel

let the kids lick the bowl, they turn into animals :)

Sundays after or before church we do breakfast at IHOP or Original Pancake House

but if time and funds don't permit, then we do dunkin donuts :)

Last Days of Summer...

Since the end of summer is near, we try to eat outside/patioside as much as possible

get as much swimming in as possible...I know we need to get him boy floaties :)

and took one last trip to the beach

back to oceanside

so we could also celebrate Uncle Rommel's big 40 birthday!

Uncle Jay being the horse ride...there are four of them on him

and of course on the way home, we had to stop at our usual Pho place and bakery in Irvine
