Happy Harvest

so with all the harvest festivities and halloween going on this month, the kids dressed up a few times...first was for Jayme's Harvest festival at school...Jayson was a nasa dude...super cute costume from Zappos.com

Jayme was Gabriella from HSM

Jaylin, a barbie princess...one of the three things our little diva dressed up as this Halloween

At the harvest festival they played games

even little Jayson won some games...see the sticky ball on the right, he threw that one, so he got a prize

they also had trunk or treating

Then we had the Zappos Party, where the kids got to visit Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory

and go in the time machine...this time Jaylin was a hair dresser and Jayme a doctor

ice cream break

Jay and his team dressed up as the Jabbawockeez, he's the third one back

costume #3, on the actual day of Halloween, Jaylin was a Cinderella type princess...again costume is from Zappos.com...we went to the GreenValley Ranch Shopping Center for Trick or Treating

Pre Halloween festivities included the pumpkin patch. We went mainly to ride the ponies, rides and play games...we didn't even get a pumpkin

Tourists

The girls wanted to go to the strip, so we ended up being there for 6 hours, covered almost half starting from the Palazzo to Bellagio and back

First had lunch at Mainland Noodle in the Palazzo Hotel...the owner was impressed at how good Jayson ate by himself, so she gave him some trainer chopsticks...as you can tell he liked it!

Then we saw some animals at Tropicana...a chicken I think?

some koi

stopped for dessert at the Paris Hotel, wasn't too impressed thought it would be better since it is Paris :)

Then to check out Bellagio's set up...it was an amazing fall theme...Jayme with I think is supposed to be Father Nature?

and Jaylin with some other interesting creatures, overall beautiful fall, fairy, nature, pumpkin, harvest decor

Then of course to the lovely water show

stayed for a second showing...I know this looks irresponsible, but I was holding onto them as they were sitting on the ledge waiting for the next show :)

and then Jayson flicked his shoe, luckily the bush caught it and Jay was able to get it

and towards the end we were all tired, so daddy had to carry and push the kids, if he could he would have carried me too...he's done it before when we have all three in the double stroller...hee!

Got lucky with 2 date nights this month

Told ya we'd be back at Sushi Samba to actually eat sushi this time...it was good!

had the bigger version of the sea bass this time

this time we went with Christina and Nelson, other parents of 3 that snuck off for a quick getaway, all the way from San Francisco

After dinner, we went to the Revolution Lounge at Mirage...don't they look so relaxed and happy...time off from 3 kids will do that to you...hee!

See!

Date night number 2 this month was just a quick dinner at Blue Martini

Jay got the beef

I got the tuna...I've been craving raw fish/sashimi lately

Girl's Day and other Fun Days

Jay had a nice idea of starting "Girl Day" so me and the girls spent one weekend afternoon together, he probably just wanted to get rid of us for a while :)

started off at starbucks, toy dog in the middle is Salsa

then did some shopping...found these super cute dresses

then took them to eat...It was a nice afternoon without the boys despite all the bickering these two do and me threatening to take them back home if they didn't behave!

Other fun times include playing at Town Square

Zoe's birthday party

And visiting with Christian and Ava...Jayson tore up their house and beat on the kids, so I doubt we'll be invited back anytime soon....haha!

Mermaid in Las Vegas

we heard that local hotel, the Silverton had a cool aquarium

and a Mermaid, so we had to go! I have to say it was pretty cool, there is this mermaid that swims around and plays with the kids through the glass, like peek-a-boo

or having the kids put their hands against the glass

then she finished off with a spin...even though the girls new she wasn't real, they still loved it and thought it was very cool...I did too :)
