fun restaurant find

Friday nights we are usually either at town square, watching a movie at home or looking for somewhere to go or eat. Serendipity or Sugar Factory is always a fun treat for us. We ended up at Caesar's intending to go to Serendipity, but decided Cheesecake Factory, but the wait was too long, and then saw Max Brenner Chocolate shop, which I recognized the name from a Facebook post, so wanted to check it out. Didn't look kid friendly from the outside, so was surprised they had a kids menu when I asked...it was a fun one too, but like it says first food, then chocolate... umm, but let me tell you this girl threw a fit during dinner when she couldn't have dessert before real food, luckily she turned her attitude around before she couldn't have anything :)
I had the brenner burger, which was yum...loved the dip and fries
Jay had the steak quesadillas

the neatest part was the kids grilled cheese bites
came with little paintbrushes to paint the cheese bites and fries with ketchup
of course, they ended up playing

her masterpiece she called it
kids dessert which was called a chocolate mess party...it was okay, the cake at the bottom was kind of hard...it was molten cake, vanilla ice cream, strawberries, whip cream, sprinkles and a vile of caramel and a bowl of chocolate kripsy candies

jay swore by the tiramisu, I thought it was okay, but he's a tiramisu fan, so I guess I will take his word for it
we'll be back here...they have some cute, fun gifts in the chocolate shop and it's just decorated so fun with chocolate everywhere!
