Mom Stuff

For Mother's Day wanted to try the new Sugar Factory at the Paris Hotel...overall a fun experience, more for dessert and fun drinks and candy, food is just okay
walked through the candy factory first and were greeted by a very nice man who let the kids pick out a free candy...so many choices!
then for breakfast in their restaurant area
lots of fun entrees, I got waffles with berries, toffee & chocolate...it was okay, not as good as I thought it would be because of the waffles, they weren't soft and fluffy, more on the drier side
however, Jay's crepes with a bunch of junk on it was pretty good!
with the kids...can't believe how big they are, feel like their childhood went by so fast it's almost a blur :(

girls wine tasting night for co-worker/supermom Lindsay's birthday...it was a beautiful night out in her backyard for us all to relax!

the sweetest part was her husband served all of us, paired the wines with yummy cheeses, meats, bread, fruit, nuts and chocolate...all which he learned by sitting with a sommelier beforehand
was a good time with the girls and we all requested that her husband Graham do this for us monthly :)

lunch with mom and dee...which the kids reaction this time was, "why you always go somewhere, why can't we eat with Lola too"...we made up for it by bringing them back treats from the bakery
I finally got to taste pan roast, always heard my mom and family talk about it but never got to try...so according to mom the best one is at Orleans at their Oyster Bar
cooked right in front of you...yummy seafood stew
