Tippi had a beautiful bridal shower at the California Cafe in Los Gatos...
My Birthday
At first I was dreading my birthday...not because I'm not happy with my life, I couldn't be happier, I am thankful everyday for God's blessings. It was only because 30 is just old, no offense to my family and friends over 30 :) I was just feeling like I haven't done enough... you know, haven't seen the world yet...
Close friend Diana said, "you have 3 beautiful kids, loving husband, good career, girlfriends that love you and much more and the reason we both have such happy families is because we have such happy marriages" and that in itself is a huge accomplishment.
Cousin Tip said you get smarter when you turn 30!
Thanks for the pep talks girls! I guess I was just being a drama queen about the whole thing. I thanked Jay because I realized that I may not be the youngest and prettiest girl in the world, but at least my husband makes me feel like I am. I wish this for all girls! And it's not just because I have a family that I have done so much, but its the way I have a family, a happy one because Jay and I grow stronger every year...even when we drive each other crazy :) And I have the best family and friends, because without their support and help with the kids Jay and I wouldn't be where we are today!
So, I guess if all I have left to do is see the world, then I am pretty lucky. So, if you are reading this, that means you have affected my life in someway over the past 30 years! Thanks everyone!
On with the fun stuff...My birthday started off with Spa Day #1 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, a wonderful gift from my sisters...followed by lunch and shopping with Dee, shopping funds provided by mom :)
Spa Day #2 was with Kay! Since, we are only ten days apart, we were able to celebrate together at the Lansdowne Resort in Virginia. The last time we had a joint birthday was when we were five :) After we got our massage and were waiting in the lounge for our facials, we were surprised with champagne, cake and the sweetest note from Tippi and Rick!
Isn't the cake so cute!
And on the actual day of my birthday, a crazy family dinner at Maggianos
Got to see some of the girls while I was in the bay. I was so excited...Loan got me and Di Sprinkles cupcakes for our birthdays...Tyler and Ethan helped us blow out the candles.

Fun Stuff
EOM March
Fun EOM March stuff included putting up Jayson's new bedding. He loves his new digs, Thanks to Auntie Gina! When we found out NBA bedding exists, we had to have it, or let's say Jay had to have it!
Girls night with the gang from work which was basically a girls pig out and a movie. We had a sausagefest, Filipino Longanisa vs. Portuguese Linguica, along with salad, wine and cheese and Shrimp Mozambique. For dessert chocolate fondue and smores.
We really did cut and use this 10 pound chocolate bar!March Restaurant Pick
We had the pleasure of sharing date night with our local Las Vegas buds, Dale and Darlene. The chance to catch up with friends and eat in peace is always very fun! Afterwards, we strolled through the new Palazzo hotel and went to check out the 40/40 club for a drink and pool. Overall, Social House is more atmosphere, the food was good, but not worth the mons. I'd rather eat Japanese Teppanyaki or sushi from Makino, where there is more selection of rolls and it's all you can eat for half the price :) A 4 in our book, but the quality time with friends is priceless of course!Easter Sunday
Beach Run
Jay went to NC and KY for work this month. So, when he got back he took us on a last minute road trip to the SoCal for some family time. Went went straight to our old home, Laguna Beach. The girls loved it!
The kids were very busy , very relaxing for mommy and daddy to have them all in once place, playing nicely
